Privacy Policy

This policy covers Resilient – Food Noise App (“Resilient”) for iPhone, published by Matthew Slepko.

Summary

What you log in Resilient is stored on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. The only information that leaves your phone is what is needed to run your subscription, described below.

What Resilient stores on your device

Resilient saves the following in the app’s own storage on your phone:

• Waves you log: when each one started, how long it lasted, the intensity ratings you gave, and any details you chose to add (what was happening, where you felt it, what you did, and whether it passed or you ate).
• The times of meals you log.
• Your if-then plans, including the one made from the questions you answer when you first open the app, and how often you said each one helped.
• Your name, if you choose to enter one.
• Your settings, including reminder choices, and your best game score.

Some of this may be information about your health. It stays on your device. We cannot see it, and it is not sent to any server. The app’s storage is excluded from iCloud and computer backups, so it is not copied to Apple’s servers either.

Your subscription

Resilient is a subscription. Payment is handled by Apple; we never see your card or payment details.

To check whether you have a subscription, the app uses a service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier created for your copy of the app, Apple’s transaction records for your Resilient subscription, and technical information about your device. It does not receive your name, your email address or anything you log. We use this to unlock the app for you and to see, in total, how many people start and keep a subscription. What we do not collect

Resilient contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software. We do not know which screens you use, what you log or how often you open the app.

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you.

Exporting your record

You can create a PDF of your record in Settings. The PDF is made on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it. Once you share it, the person or service you sent it to is responsible for it.

Reminders

Reminders are optional and are scheduled on your device by iOS. They do not pass through any server, and we do not receive anything when one is delivered. You can turn them off in Settings or in iOS Settings.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. Subscription records are shared with Apple and RevenueCat only as described above. Nothing you log is shared with anyone.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your record stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete a single wave, meal or plan in the app. “Erase all app data” in Settings deletes your whole record, your plans and your settings, including the journal saved by an earlier version. Settings can be opened without a subscription, so you can export or erase your record after cancelling. Deleting the app also deletes its data. There is no copy held by us to delete.

Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies. They are not tied to your name or email address. To ask for the RevenueCat record for your copy of the app to be deleted, email us at the address below and we will tell you what we need to find it.

There is no backup. If you remove the app or change phones, your record is not carried over.

Children

Resilient is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
